Our HEIDENHAIN Exchange Service gets your machine running again.

How the HEIDENHAIN Exchange Service works

  • Apply for a device through the HEIDENHAIN Exchange Service.
  • We'll deliver the desired device within 24 hours upon request for customers inside Europe.
  • Return your defective device along with this checklist to the following address within four weeks after receiving the replacement device:

   You pay for shipping and handling when returning the defective device.

  • When we send you the Exchange Service device, we will charge you 80% of the normal Service department price.
  • You get to keep the device sent to you. It becomes your property as soon as you pay the Exchange Service invoice.
  • We will buy back the returned defective device for 35% of the normal Service department price. It becomes our property and will be used for future exchange purposes.
  • However, HEIDENHAIN will not buy back the returned device in the following cases:
    – If it is not returned within the 4-week period
    – If the returned device is not equivalent to the Exchange Service device sent to you (based on the ID number)
